I’ll appreciate any reviews on my application.

I’ll like to know your experience with the application. So please be so kind to post any meanings you may have.

    Hi,

    I cant write a review, because the programme does not work for me. So all I have to say is negative, where most people might actually have some benefit from it…
    Your programme does not scan subfolders as I see it. Most people do not download single rar files into one folder, but seperate rars in seperate folders. Hence your programme needs to support multiple folders. This is a key feature its missing imho.

    @Haidenai

    It does not scan subfolders inside the root folder. It does however scan rar files for further rarfiles. So if it unpacks rarfiles, it checks for rar files in the new unpack folder.

    I’ll take it into account, and see if I can implement it, into the next version.

    What error do you receive, since the program doesn’t work for you? I have had an error in one of my uploads, so you could try downloading it again :)

    I suggest adding a “google+” button for the blog!

    Thanks for the nice program. I was eagerly waiting to something like this.

    The problem: It doesn’t extract files which have just been joined by HJ-join module. These files actually never extracting (even in next scans). Program only extract after having them renamed…
    Please fix this.. I’m working with tons of splitted (password protected) archives and need to have whole process automated.

    Thank you!

    @WishfulThinker
    Hi WishfulThinker.

    If a file (rar, zip etc) have been unpacked, the name of the file will be stored, to make sure it doesn’t unpack the same files over and over in case the user doesn’t choose to delete the files.

    So if your files always have the same name, it will cause them not to be unpacked, unless they are renamed.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks Lord Dinirex,
    I think we misunderstand each other.
    I’m speaking about a NEW rar file, which has been auto-created by the program, after the program had joined (HJjoin) its parts.
    Such rars never extract by the program.

    So since it’s actually a new file in the folder, I’d expect the program to auto-extract it as well (if not immediately at least at the next scan).

    Hope you find a solution for this :)

    Hi Lord Dinirex,

    First of all, thanks a lot for this program, it helps out me a lot. I just have one feature I would like to have included or maybe it is included and I just can’t find it, lol. Anyways, is it possible to let the program unpack in the same folder as it located the rar files? If it’s possible I would like to know how and if it’s not I hope it will be included some time in the future. Thanks in advance.

    @admin

    Thoek :

    This is possible, you simple select the same folder been watched to be the destination :)

    Hi Lord Dinirex,

    Thanks for this awesome program! But one question: When does it decide to skip a job? Because just now I noticed it skipped a file that was over 2GB and files below 1GB worked just fine. I hope you can help.

      usually it skips a file if it’s corrupt or it was unable to determin if it is password protected. If you have enabled developer logging, you Can send it to me by using the bug reporter :) Then I Can try to figure out why it skips it?

    @admin
    I already found out what was wrong. I turned out two rars had CRC errors, so no fault from your side 😉 Would be nice to have a more detailed status message though, instead of just “Skipped” 😛
